News from the Library
What's planned for 2008...
Plans are being made for some major events in the Rangitikei Libraries this year.
Big book sale and lots of parties…
At present the Rangitikei Libraries are planning several events during for 2008. We are having the Bulls Library 90th birthday celebrations on the 5th of April, and on the same day we will also be having a Book Sale in the Bulls Town Hall.
In July the Taihape Library will be turning 100, this of course will be a very special year for the Taihape Library, it should be a great event.
In September the Marton Library will be 125 years old and we are planning on staging an event that will adequately celebrate a huge milestone in the history of the library.
We will of course be having other events during the year… watch this space!
